Natural Stone (i.e. Granite, Quartzite) is a natural product and as such contains variations in color, veining and shading. Some stone will contain inclusions, pits or fissures as a result of its geological formation causing weak points that are structurally compromising.
The actual stone delivered may differ from the sample shown. Samples are used as a representation of the final product and will not be an exact match. When and where the product is quarried will affect the color. If you are concerned of the variation in color between the samples shown and the actual product you receive, you should arrange a visit to Jacksonville Quartz and Stone^^s facility and showroom to view slabs.
GRANITE is a very durable natural stone that can hold up against scratching, heat and staining if maintained properly. Some granite consist of many different types of minerals that do not polish the same as the other minerals within the stone which can sometimes be felt throughout the stone. Some stones may be coated with resin from the manufacturer to strengthen the stone which can fill voids and be visible on the stone.
QUARTZITE is very dense and consists of many fissures (internal cracks/micro-cracks) throughout the stone. In some cases, fissures may appear to be cracked (open crack) but actually is not.
